Some performers flirt with danger. Iggy Pop embraces it with abandon. In this fun, high-voltage documentary, indie-director (and huge fan) Jim Jarmusch recounts the hard-rocking history of Iggy Pop and The Stooges, following the band's destructive tendencies as well as its improbable survival. The legendary band burst out of Ann Arbor – back when Iggy was James Osterberg – in the late 1960s with a fusion of raw rock, free jazz, R&B, and remains influential over 40 years later.
