After Spielberg's “Raiders of the Lost Ark” was released 35 years ago, three 11-year-old boys from Mississippi set out on what would become a very long labor of love: making a faithful, shot-for-shot adaptation of their favorite film. Though it took seven years they filmed every scene but one; the film's explosive airplane set piece. This heartfelt documentary follows the 25-year reunion of the cast and crew, now in their 40s, as they complete this last missing scene. The insightful film digs deep into the notion of friendship and motivation as it chronicles the boys’ commitment to their artistic vision and childhood dream.
