Come celebrate another year of Film Kitchen and local filmmakers! Tonight’s program features recent works by three inspiring women in film and media who will also be in attendance for Q&A. Holly Hey is a professor of film and video production at The University of Toledo, and current head of the Film program. Her work has screened around the world, including the Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Mix Festival New York, Denver International Film Festival, and the Vancouver Queer Film and Video Festival. Ivette Spradlin is a Cuban-American video artist and photographer based in Pittsburgh who teaches courses at CMU and Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Her work centers around the emotional aspects of transition, adaptation and balance in one's life. Adrienne Wagner is a cinematographer and editor known for My Grandpa's Garage (2015), Breaking Down the Back Door (2013) and Super 8 Graveyard (2015).
